Sales Representative

Role Overview
STRYDE are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative who has made a start in their sales career in technical product sales or someone with domain experience in geoscience who might be looking to transition into a customer facing commercial role. You will be comfortable communicating with prospective clients, delivering presentations, and be motivated to improve the customer journey. 

STRYDE has achieved great things becoming the world’s leading seismic nodal provider. Growth in the new energy segments such as geothermal, mining, civil engineering, and CCUS means we need someone to join an experienced global sales and business development team, concentrating on these new energy segments.
What you will do
  • This is a predominantly inside sales role so you will concentrate on answering customer enquiries, following up with existing customers and qualifying the customers by learning about their needs and requirements.
  • You will be tasked with making the first contact from the inbound leads and moving these leads onto the next stage of the sales process.
  • Research new accounts and compile background information to help guide the sales approach.
  • On some sales you will be expected to lead through to close, including owning the sales contract.
  • Work with Marketing to provide customer feedback.
  • Build and manage a portfolio leads
  • Act as a brand ambassador - attend conferences, exhibitions and events where you advocate for STRYDE
Who we’re looking for
  • We have a strong team culture, so to be a good fit we’re looking for an enthusiastic team member with the drive and motivation to help grow and improve our sales efforts. 
  • Strong IT skills that can be applied to the sales process through the use of data tools, platforms and software.
  • Experience of B2B sales in a technical domain from within the energy sector.
  • Diligence, methodical an analytical are traits we value and believe will allow you to succeed in our sales environment. 
  • The ideal candidate will have exposure to the contracting process
  • Willingness to travel – sometimes at short notice. 
  • An independent self-starter, with 90% of our time being home based 
  • Experience with product demonstrations in either the field or an office environment would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is beneficial, but not essential for the role as training will be provided.
