Warehouse Operations Specialist

Role Overview
The Warehouse Operations Specialist supports the safe functioning of the Dubai warehouse while also supporting the quality testing and mobilisation of STRYDE equipment to customers.
 
The successful candidate will oversee daily warehouse activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure adherence to JAFZA regulations, STRYDE policies, and international logistics best practices.
The suitable candidate will have an electromechanical background with strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of import/export procedures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities to keep operations running seamlessly.
What you will do
  • Support the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of STRYDE equipment, including charging and harvesting STRYDE systems and cleaning and servicing equipment  
  • Ensure maintenance of seismic field equipment
  • Regularly operate maintenance equipment (techshop testers, power tools, air compressors, pressure washers).
  • Ensure that company maintenance standards are adhered to, and maintenance records are kept up to date.
  • Assist senior technical staff in generating and consolidating reports for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Review monthly equipment test results along with the Operations Supervisor.
  • Review spares inventories monthly with junior staff and with the Operations Supervisor, ensure required spares are on requisition well in advance.
  • Along with Senior and Junior technical staff, hold periodic self-audits and ensure that all technical and operational aspects are within 100% compliance.
  • Ensure all warehouse staff are wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure all warehouse staff adhere to sage working procedures. 
  • Coordinate with logistics on loading and unloading operations.
  • Coordinate with logistics on packing and shipping documentation.
Who we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's degree from within a relevant field such as Supply chain, mechanical engineering or business administration
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a warehouse environment in JAFZA 
  • Handle technician equipment and maintain/repair as per manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Experience handling warehouse equipment such as operating mechanical lifting equipment (3T forklift, pallet jacks, electric trolleys)
  • Must have a UAE driving licence and forklift certification
  • Strong team work ethic is central to the success of warehouse operations
  • Strong computer skills
  • Candidates should be good communicators in English
